Team History
We have played in this tournament the last few years and have slowly built over the last year a team that will be able to be competitive.
Practice Regimen
Mainly calisthenics with some beach games and swimming. Our outfielders won “500” consistently. (A game where a ball is thrown in the air with a point value and whoever accumulate 500 points first, wins!) Our infielders played in little league and we figure it can’t be much different than riding a bike. We have also been conditioning our bodies through the rigors of law school, long, late nights and active days.

Favorite Thing About The Tournament
Playing the game and fraternizing with the other teams. In law school, the adversarial nature of the practice of law is quite notable. Here, there is a competition aspect but then afterwards, you meet and mingle with other aspiring attorney’s. It’s a fun event that doesn’t have a host of negative implications. If you lose, you have a great weekend in Charlottesville where the stress of law school has taken a back seat for a couple days. If you win, you have a great weekend in Charlottesville where the stress of law school has taken a back seat for a couple days. . . and you get a trophy.
The Tournament Would Be More Awesome If
Teams would show up or forfeits were more than 10-0 wins. Last year we had 2 wins by forfeit in our pool play and seeded by Runs, we were disadvantaged (imo). I know the weather was not cooperative and that the tournament directors do not have control over this, but it’s frustrating to show up to play and then the other team no show.
